Elephant Country Guest House is next to the Elephant Sanctuary, it offers bed and breakfast accommodation and comprises of 6 rooms, each individually decorated. These rooms are furnished with either a king-size or 2 twin beds and shared or private, en-suite bathrooms, with showers.

In addition, each room contains a well-stocked mini-bar fridge, a TV with selected DStv channels, and tea- and coffee-making facilities and free wi-fi and secure parking. Parking is secure and rooms are daily serviced.

In-Room Facilities:

Each of the five suites is stylishly furnished with period furniture and percale linen. Depending on the type of suite you choose, the beds can be either king-sized, twin or a comfortable day bed for an extra person. Only the family twin rooms share the en-suite bathrooms with its spacious showers. Amenities are complimentary.
The bar fridge is stocked, and the coffee/tea station with its great selection will satisfy all tastes. Selected rooms feature seating, DSTV (selected channels), free Wi-Wi and beautiful garden and mountain views.


The Crags is the ultimate spot for travelers looking for adventure and with a love for the magnificent outdoors of South Africa.
Some of the local attractions for nature-lovers include walks through the forests and canopy tours, mountain trails that can be walked or cycled, and a huge variety of ocean-based activities (such as water sports, whale-watching tours, and deep-sea fishing).
Well worth a visit is to the handcrafts village where you can watch some of the traders at work. Most of the handiworks are exported, but also for sale on-site,.
